I don't have a good camera. I do have shakey hands. I'm fond of flowers, manga, Ashe, queerness, strong flavours, fashion, curvy ladies, scrawny boys, seriously cute things like sloths, and pretty colours. I live on the west coast of Canadia, and study psychology. I have ADD, but mostly you won't notice on here, which is sort of sad because it occasionally leads to hilarious hijinks. Or at least I think so. Also, I talk in my sleep. About lemurs. I not very secretly want to be Rufus Wainwright or maybe Miyavi when I grow up, but I'll settle for being an awesome, LGBT-and-everything-else-positive sex educator and researcher, because the world needs more of that sweet action. All those times you sat in class, or read something, and thought, "Yeah, but what about me?" I'm going to fix that.

I have also recently realised my deep and unending love for cookies and cream stuff. It's like crack. With delicious cookie chunks.

Item 40: [IMAGE] Create a portrait of Jensen Ackles entirely out of skittles doing his pouty “Blue Steel” look. Must be AT LEAST 2 feet by 2 feet.

And, as always, saving my crowning glory for last. I present to you the JENSEN SNACKLES! I think I have shown once again that I am the pro-champion of candy portraits. His forehead is a little wonky, but I can fix that. Or decide not to give a fuck. Many, many thanks to J for getting the collar and hair done for me while I was in Vancouver.

Vessellated’s father gave us two pieces of plywood, so OBVIOUSLY, I’m going to make a triptych. Any suggestions for what candy I should use? Or what terrible pun name I should give my Misha one?

This is just pure, distilled beauty. When people were choosing the photo, and commenting on this one, it went like: “undersally is serene, knitting away, vessellated looks hella cute, and insoulated is just…insoulated.” Why is this such a common theme in my life?

Hugs? It’s ridiculous but I think it’s really powerful when she says she’ll change into a mule, ‘cause fuck flattering, eh?

Hmm… I never thought of it that way? That is rather badass. Kate Bush, you are restored to greatness in my eyes.

So, these are my ideas for my Ouji Lolita Hallowe’en outfit. Pardon the rather crappy drawing, but you get the idea. (For some reason, I can’t draw calves today?) Different outfits plus pros and cons are:

Coat: pros: flattering on arms, easy to readjust size with buckle at waist/lacing, more the look I want from the back cons: a lot more sewing, and a lot fussier, not exactly the style I want

Vest and skirt: pros: more the style I want, weirder, vest could be worn later (if I sew it well…), easier to make cons: not necessarily as flattering, less fancy

Different stockings: they’re…different. ._. These are the ones I can find that would fit me. I own a pair of plain white thigh-highs with black bows or white fishnets that I might just use… If anyone has suggestions of where I could find some rad thigh-highs or over-the-knees that would fit someone with MASSIVE calves, let me know?

Ruffles on front of bloomers: something I’ll add if I have time. I feel like they break up the space nicely.

Anyway, what do y’all think? Which outfit do you like better? Will I look like a total goon? A dashing young gentleman?

undersally replied to your photoset: IT IS MOTHERFUCKING PASTRY TIME.

What I want to know is, how come YOU have a pastry blender and I don’t? I’m the big sister, I’m supposed to get stuff first!

Haha, I have cut in the sisterly line of thing-get! It’s probably too late, but you can make do with a couple of knives held parallel, or using a food processor.

It turned out I didn’t even need the pastry knife. ._. But on the other hand, I made pretty decent puff pastry on the first go?

and yesterday we were out together, and a waitress complimented us on our hair, and said that it looked like we’d come from a hair show!

I actually got slightly teary-eyed.

My haircuts look professional. Probably not TO a professional, but…

J is doing a jigsaw puzzle on his iPad, while I look up wool roving listings on ebay.

J: Do you think this is what most married couples do on the weekend?

Me: I think this is what 73-year-old married couples do on the weekend.
